BREWERY TASTING NOTES:
The Goose is Loose is a vibrant gose brewed with fruits traditionally harvested in Danish summers—gooseberry, red currant, and black currant. These tart berries are balanced by a residual sweetness, achieved by adding the fruit post-fermentation and then pasteurizing the beer. The result is a moderately red beer with a light haze and a delicate pink foam.
The aroma is intensely berry-forward, featuring notes of red and black currant, subtle gooseberry, and hints of concord grape, citrus, lime, honey, and hibiscus. On the palate, it presents a light saltiness, moderate sweetness, and a balanced sourness with a subtle bitterness. The medium body offers some astringency, medium carbonation, and a moderately mouthwatering finish, making this gose both refreshing and complex.
