Fruit Beers are beers flavored with fruits (whole fruit, juice, puree or syrups) and differ from wines and ciders. The best known fruit beers are from Belgium and the best craft breweries will age beers for months on whole fruit, often in oak barrels. Reasons for brewing fruit beers vary and can range from adding sweetness or acidity, to using fruits to capture (and bottle) the harvest and season. Hosting a party?
