Westmalle Trappist Beer Singapore

Westmalle Brewery was started on 22 April 1836. The Trappist monks first began brewing their craft beer for themselves, though they did sell their beers occasionally at the gate of the monastery. From these small sales, their popularity grew, as did the demand for their trappist craft beers. The Westmalle Tripel is widely known as "The Mother of All Tripels". Prior to the monks brewing the Westmalle Tripel, no such beer style existed!
